| Pascal Jean Delorme was born just over forty years ago in Paray-Le-Monial in Burgundy, France. From an early age Delorme was consumed with a passion for art and design, together with a thirst for travel and adventure.

With Club Med and later, Nouvelles Frontieres, he travelled to Greece, Senegal, Spain, The Canaries - in fact pretty much everywhere he could immerse himself in the elements of light and water - in the sea and the ocean.
It was in Greece in 1987 that Delorme discovered his enduring passion for sailing and windsurfing, a theme that figures greatly in his art - even though he now admits to being a partial convert to windsurfing. |
| Delorme received a watercolour paint set as a gift from his partner in 1995 - and naturally he immediately set about painting windsurfers in action. He soon switched to the more flexible medium of Acrylic and began to simplify his colour palette.
Today Delorme works in just three colours, including white, with which he succeeds in recreating a complexity of action in light and shadow in a unique, distinctive style. |
